Q: What is one goal you have for yourself in baseball?
A: One goal that I have for myself is to continue to be developed, learn the fundamentals, and follow through with a commitment to excellence. Only then will I achieve the end result; to play at the next level of baseball.
Q: What do you like to do when you are not playing baseball?
A: When I am not playing baseball I focus on academics. Maintaining good grades will ensure that I make it to the next level. Obtaining an athletic scholarship and playing at the collegiate level is a dream of mine that I know can be achieved through a competitive grade point average.
Q: What is the dumbest thing you've heard from spectators in the stands?
A: "My mom hits harder than that!"
Q: What is the best advice you've been given by a coach or mentor?
A: To have a vision, have goals in life is what my father has always taught me. Do everything possible to stay focused on my vision and strive to achieve my goals.
Q; What has baseball taught you that you can apply in life outside of athletics?
A: Baseball is a game of failure, but it doesn't mean you put your head down and stop, you keep going and push through. Having a positive mentality and outlook on life will help me with the development of not only baseball, but long lasting-decisions I will make in life.
